Document Description
Hallwood Side Channel and Floodplain Restoration, Phase III and IV (WCB Project ID:2021030). The core activity of the Project is the removal of large portions of the Middle Training Wall to create a healthier, more natural, and therefore, more productive river with subsequent fine-scale grading and revegetation. The Project will restore and enhance ecosystem processes with a primary objective of rehabilitating productive juvenile salmonid rearing habitat to increase natural production of fall-run and springrun Chinook salmon and California Central Valley (CCV) steelhead in the lower Yuba River.
