Document Description
The Energy Commission reviewed the Initial Study and Mitigated Negative Declaration (Certified June 19, 2019) as approved by the Yuba County Planning Department. The Yuba County Planning Commission is the lead agency on this IS/MND and approved Conditional Use Permit CUP 2019-0002 on 19th day of June 2019. California Energy Commission is approving a grant to ICF Incorporated, LLC to design and construct an innovative 5 Megawatt (MW) (net) biomass power plant that will incorporate advanced air pollutant emission controls and a low water consumption condenser and consume up to 50,000 bone dry tons of forest biomass per year.
