Document Description
The California Department of Fish and Wildlife (CDFW) has executed Lake and Streambed Alteration Agreement (EPIMS-MEN-56177-R1C), pursuant to Fish and Game Code section 1602, to the project Applicant, The Mendocino Council of Governments. This agreement authorizes The Mendocino Council of Governments to construct a pedestrian bridge west of the existing vehicle bridge. Bridge supports include two piers that are outside of ordinary high water, but within the flood plain of Mill Creek. The bridge design accommodates the 100-year flow and associated debris. Riparian habitat removed or shaded by the project will be replaced and monitored as part of a revegetation plan.
