Document Description
The California Department of Fish and Wildlife (CDFW) has executed Lake and Streambed Alteration Agreement number 1600-2019-0230-R2, pursuant to section 1602 of the Fish and Game Code to the project Applicant, California Department of Transportation. The project is limited to the construction of a new bridge approximately 100-feet east of the existing bridge. The existing roadway will be realigned, and new bridge approaches and abutments constructed east of the existing bridge. Rock slope protection will be installed adjacent to the abutments along the bank of Cottonwood Creek to protect the structure from scour. Twenty-four 24-inch diameter cast-in-steel-shell (CISS) pipe piles will be installed to support the new abutments and bridge structure.
