- Caltrans proposes to replace the Cottonwood Creek Bridge (Bridge No. 12-0120) located at PM 15.41 on SR 99 in Butte County. The proposed project would construct a new bridge adjacent to the existing bridge. The new bridge centerline alignment would shift approx 70-ft east of the existing bridge. The roadway would be realigned to the east to accommodate the new bridge offset. SR 99 and Nelson Ave would be widened to accommodate standard shoulders as well as a left turn lane and refuge island.
