Document Description
The project applicant is proposing to construct and operate a mini-storage facility on a +/-3.97 acre site within the city of Tehachapi. The site is zoned M-1 and is designated SD-1 on the general plan. The project is subject to Architectural design and site plan review pursuant to TZC 9.60 (architectural design and site plan review). The one-story mini-storage facility would consist of 12 buildings encompassing approx 101,829 sf of storage area, a 985 sf office, approx 8 off-street parking spaces, 52,095 sf of paving, and 70,191 sf open storage area. The self storage units would range in size from 25 sf to 200 sf. The mini-storage facility would operate from 6:00 am to 6:00 pm daily.
