Document Description
Request by HS Buckley LLC for a CUP to allow a self-service storage facility consisting of 166,251 sf of indoor storage and a 1,000 sf manager's office to be built in five phases. The project also proposes 153,857 sf of interim outdoor storage during the first four phases of the project as it is being built out. The project will consist of 14 one-story buildings containing 1,603 storage units. The project will result in the disturbance of approx 10.7 acres of a 10.8 acre parcel. The proposed project is within the industrial land use category and is located on the south side of Buckley Rd, approx 650 ft west of hwy 227, south of the San Luis Obispo County regional airport and approx 0.75 mile south of the southern city limits of the city of San Luis Obispo. The site is in the San Luis Obispo subarea of the San Luis Obispo planning area.
