Document Description
Caltrans proposes a bridge replacement project at SR 99 and Avenue 152 Overcrossing in Tipton, Tulare County. The existing profile and grade of SR 99 will remain unchanged while conforming to the at grade intersections west and east of the bridge. The new structure would accommodate a 40-ft roadbed and a sidewalk with a concrete barrier separating the sidewalk and traffic. Chain link railing will be installed on the bridge at the outside edge of the sidewalk. Right of way acquisition and utility relocation is required. Work proposed on this project includes bridge removal and replacement, embankment construction, paving to conform, and railing work. Warning lights, signage and pavement delineation will be implemented at Avenue 152, and Thompson Rd.
