Document Description
Note: Review Per Lead
The County of Monterey Resource Management Agency proposes to replace the existing two-lane Hartnell Road Bridge (Bridge No. 44C0110) over Alisal Creek in Monterey County, CA, with a wider bridge that meets current American Association of State Highway and Transportation Officials requirements. The existing bridge is 42-ft long and 21-ft wide, with two 9- and 10-ft travel lanes and 2-ft unstriped shoulders. The proposed project would also widen the roadway approaches for approx 370-470 ft on the north and south ends of the bridge to conform to the replacement bridge width and profile. After construction, both the bridge and roadway approaches would contain two 12-ft lanes (one in each direction) and two 8-ft shoulders and would meet AASHTO min speed standards.
