The City of Walnut prepared a DEIR and FEIR that analyzed the potential environmental impacts associated with the adoption and long-term implementation of the Walnut General Plan Update and the West Valley Specific Plan. The General Plan is organized to address the requirements of the CA Government Code Sections 65350 through 65362. The General Plan includes updates to the Land Use, Circulation, Community Facilities and Infrastructure, Noise Safety, and Open Space and Conservation elements. The West Valley Specific Plan addresses the requirements of the CA Government Code Sections 65450 to 65457.
