The Walnut General Plan Update identifies the community's vision for the future and provides a framework to guide decision making on growth and development, aesthetics, transportation, and open space. The proposed Walnut General Plan Update will include the following elements: Land Use and Community Design; Circulation; Conservation, Open Space, and Recreation; Community Facilities and Infrastructure; Safety; and Noise Elements. The West Valley Specific Plan allows for new mixed-use development along Valley Boulevard.
