Document Description
The California Department of Fish and Wildlife has executed Lake and Streambed Alteration Agreement number 1600-2017-0386-R1, pursuant to Section 1602 of the Fish and Game Code to Erlyne Schmidbauer. This project is limited to two encroachments. The project will replace two failing outlet pipes (each with a stand pipe and barrel) for sediment retention basins. There are existing crossings over the barrel pipes at both locations. Failing pipes will be replaced with 42-inch diameter straight culverts, with armoring and bioengineered grade control as necessary at the inlet and upstream. Sediment retention structures exist downstream at both locations.

The project affects two established crossings and replaces failing outflow pipes for sediment retention basins with approriately sized and placed culverts. There will be no significant adverse impact on endangered, rare or threatened species or their habitat pursuant to section 15065. There are no hazardous materials at or around the project site that may be disturbed or removed. The project will not result in impacts that are significant when viewed in connection with the effects of past projects, the effects of other current projects, and the effects of probably future projects.
