Document Description
This project proposes to construct a roundabout at the intersection of Lakeview road and Route 129 in Santa Cruz County, east of the City of Watsonville. The purpose of the project is to improve safety at this intersection by reducing potential and severity of broadside collisions. The project is needed because this intersection is experiencing collisions at a rate higher than the statewide average for similar facilities. Shared multi use pathways will be constructed to accommodate pedestrian and bicycle traffic. A minor amount of right of way is required.
