Document Description
DWR will convey up to 200,000 acre-feet of LADWP local water supplies to MWDSC. This non project water will be made available via Los Angeles aqueduct #1 at LADWP's turn in structure at mile post 311.84, Reach 19 of the CA Aqueduct for subsequent delivery by DWR to MWDSC's turnouts. MWDSC has requested that the non project water be delivered under Article 55 of MWDSC's long term water supply contract with DWR> This will help LADWP manage its water supplies and help avoid damage to environmentally sensitive areas in the Owens valley and along the Los Angeles Aqueduct.
