Eastern Municipal Water District is proposing the Case Road Sewer Project located in the city of Perris, Riverside County, California. The proposed project would construct approx. 1,300 linear feet of 15-inch diameter sewer pipeline, within the public rights-of-way along G Street and Case Road, as shown on the attached map.
The proposed project would connect to an existing 12-inch diameter VCP sewer pipeline owned by the City of Perris situated on G-street; install approx. 580 linear feet of 15-inch diameter sewer pipeline south along G-Street to the intersection of G-street and Case Road; an additional approximately 185 linear would cross the Metrolink rail line near the intersection of G-street and Case Road, and approximately 520 linear feet would continue southeast along Case Road where it would connect to an existing 15-inch diameter sewer pipeline owned by the District, The portion of sewer crossing the rail line will be constructed using the jack-and-bore construction method, while the remaining sections of pipe will be constructed using the traditional trenching method.
Implementation of the proposed project would result in construction of less than one mile of pipeline. This project meets the criteria provided within CEQA Guidelines for statutory exemption.
