Document Description
Authorization of a planning grant to the Tahoe Transportation District to complete a Project Study Report, which is the first stage in the Caltrans project development process for the Tahoe City Caltrans Yard Relocation and Restoration Project. The overall purpose of the Project is to relocate the existing Caltrans maintenance yard, currently located on sensitive land adjacent to the Truckee River, to a more appropriate site and to restore the existing yard for environmental improvements and recreational opportunities; consistent with Tahoe Regional Planning Agency, Lahontan Regional Water Quality control board, and Place County plans and goals.
