- The California Department of Fish and Wildlife has executed Lake and Streambed Alteration Agreement number 1600-2017-0061-R3, pursuant to Section 1602 of the Fish and Game Code to the Pacific Gas and Electric Company The project consists of the removal of existing, non-functional boardwalks and installation of replacement boardwalks that are needed to access Pacific Gas & Electric (PG&E) electrical transmission towers in the San Francisco Bay tidal lands for inspection and maintenance. The boardwalks, which are raised wooden footpaths used to access the towers, are constructed over marsh areas and open water. The project is comprised of segments at five separate locations. Work is expected to take approx. up to 18 weeks.
