- The project is limited to the construction of 2(two) separate off-channel Coho salmon (oncorhynchus kisutch) rearing ponds and approximately 300 linear feet of LWD Alder Addition, approximately 2 miles upstream on Horse Creek above its confluence with Klamath River, The ponds will provide favorable temperature and low velocity habitat requirements for winter rearing and provide cool groundwater and abundant food sources for summer rearing.
