Document Description
Replace existing sections of the asphalt parking lot in the Big Sur Lodge cabins parking area of Pfeiffer Big Sur State Park with either decomposed granite or soil to improve health of three (3) nearby trees. Work will remove approximately 500 square feet of existing asphalt and replace with 270 square feet of decomposed granite for parking and 230 square feet of soil and mulch, filled to grade, with a river rock border to expand the open space around the trees, which will reduce tree stress and root compaction.
