- CDFW has executed lake and streambed alteration agreement no. 1600-2017-0565-R1, pursuant to section 1602 of the fish and game code to Humboldt Bay Municipal Water District. The project is limited to one encroachment to remove accumulated sediment from Sherriff's Cove using an excavator. A max of 5,000 cy of sediment will be removed and taken via dump trucks to an upland disposal site. Work will be conducted above the water line and silt fencing will be installed to prevent impacts to water quality.

- The project is limited to one encroachment to remove accumulated sediment from Sherriff's Cove using an excavator. The project is proposed to be conducted outside of the rainy season, above the water line. There would be no significant adverse impact on endangered, rare, or threatened species or their habitat pursuant to section 15065.
