Document Description
Project will remove 3 acres of tree-of-heaven on the South Shore of Millerton Lake State Recreation Area to reduce hazardous fire conditions for public safety purposes. Work will: use chainsaws to fell trees; use a spray bottle to spray Garlon 4 ultra on cut stumps; relocate cut vegetation to established burn pile area; burn material during allowable (CAL FIRE and air pollution control district) burn days; and apply habitat, roundup, and hasten-EA on Spring foliage.
