Document Description
The proposed projects seeks to replace an existing 472 square foot floating dock and 40-foot long, 3-foot wide gangway with a new 420 square foot floating dock and 40 foot long, 3 foot wide gangway. The existing dock and gangway will be transported by boat to a launch ramp where it will be removed from the water, and transported by truck to a properly permitted facility for disposal. The new floating dock will be constructed off-site, floated into place, and secured to the existing deadman anchors with cables. The dock will be constructed with an aluminum frame; ThruFlow grated decking, and encapsulated floats. The gangway will be constructed offsite and brought by boat to the site where it will be connected to the existing landing and floating dock. The gangway will include an aluminum handrail, side-tubing/pickets with less than 4 inches of space between the pickets and ThruFlow grated decking. The gangway will be connected to the existing landing using existing deadman anchors and cables
