Document Description
The project is to stabilize 169 feet of Russian River bank below the residence. The site experience a slump during flooding in January 2017. The landowner placed 300 cubic yards of rock riprap, underlain by geotextile fabric, to stabilize the slump escarpment and protect the house. The landowner received a notice of violation from the Regional Water Board related to the emergency work on August 18, 2017. The project will involve placing 4-foot diameter rock along the bottom 11 feet of riverbank and replacing the 300 cubic yards of rock riprap with a biotechnical solution.
