Document Description
The Permit allows Dynegy to store and treat hazardous waste in three surface impoundments and a filter press. The hazardous waste is generated onsite from the cleaning operations at the power generation buildings. Dynegy applied for the renewal of their Permit in May 2015. No changes will occur in the type of waste handled, the wasted handled, the volumes of wasted stored or treated, or the operation of the surface impoundments. However, the two power generators thet create the hazardous wastes are now closed and no further hazardous waste is expected to be generated from the cleaning processes.
