Document Description
The project is limited to removing all fill material associated with an unauthorized dam constructed last year, and relocating it back to the original cross section, according plans and the Wetlands Reconstruction Plan dated August 2017, in order to re-establish a livestock stock pond where one had existed for several decades. The dam will remain the same dimensions as it was prior to the summer of 2016. Additionally, the stream channel and associated wetlands which were impacted by the unauthorized relocation will be recreated and rehabilitated.

Reasons for Exemption
The project involves moving unauthorized fill back to its original location in order to store water. Work will require minor alteration to current topography, but there will be no expansion or increase of capacity from the original structure. There appear to be no hazardous materials at or around the project site that may be disturbed or removed and no significant adverse impacts on endangered, rare, or threatened species or their habitat. The project will not result in impacts with regards to an environmental resource of hazardous or critical concern, nor will it place new impacts in an area with unique or unusual circumstances. The project will not result in cumulative impacts to this stream reach.
