Document Description
California Department of Transportation (Caltrans) proposes a project to address the continuous slip out of soil in this location from the slope down to the traveled way. The project would cut back the slope angle at this location to 1.5:1 using conventional excavation measures, then cover the new slope with geosynthetic fabric and hydroseed to stabilize the soil and add a concret-lined swale at top of slope to redirect storm drainage.
