The project is limited to one encroachment. The project will replace a failing, 24-in diameter culvert with a 48-in diameter culvert, repair road and berm/bank damage from the culvert failure. The outflow of the new culvert will discharge onto rock to dissipate energy, and the inside of the culvert will be lightly rocked to collect sediment and aid in amphibian passage. Live willow stakes will be planted on the berm and bank of Broaddus Creek to replace Himalayan blackberry removed for the project.
