Document Description
SWRCB as the lead agency will be issuing a water supply permit. SWRCB has reviewed the environmental information form as prepared by Redwood Terrace Mutual Water Company on July 14, 2017, including the associated phots and map. The Redwood Terrace Mutual Water Company proposes to drill a new well to replace the source water provided by an existing well and spring that are under the direct influence of surface water. The proposed project includes replacement of 130 lf of existing pipeline to convey water to the existing storage tanks. The new well will provide a negligible expansion of capacity. The existing well will continue to serve to one private residence who is not a member of the Redwood Terrace community. The supply line from well 1 under Hwy 84 will be abandoned. Spring 1 will be disconnected from the water system, and the supply line for the spring will be removed. The spring water will return to a natural flow.
