Document Description
Torrance Unified School District proposes to construct a new gymnasium at Bert Lynn Middle School. The gymnasium would replace a portion of the turf playfields at the school. The design of the new 7,500-square-foot, 34-foot-tall gymnasium would be "boxy" and angular, and would have a concrete walkway around the perimeter of the building that would connect to existing campus walkways. The gymnasium would supplement that middle school's physical eduction program, and would not increase student capacity. construction activities are anticipated to start in January 2019, and the overall construction oduration is anticipated to last approximately 12 months.
