Document Description
The proposed project would restore stream flows otherwise diverted by the farmer between August 1st and October 31st in order to restore natural streamflow levels to help protect the quality and quantity of salmonid habitat. The size of the proposed project site is 4.6 acres and all construction activities would occur entirely within existing agricultural lands including the access route, staging area and pond footprint. The project would excavate a new 30 AF pond and remove (grade) the existing 14 AF Pond, returning it to agricultural field production a year after construction. A projected 68,000 cubic yards (CY) of earth will be excavated and used to create the berms of the new pond. Natural materials found onsite (clays) will be used to form the pond liner.
