Washington Street/Red Church Pedestrian and Circulation Improvement Project
MND - Mitigated Negative Declaration
Present Land Use
The city of Sonora proposes improvements to the intersection of Snell Street and N. Washington/Highway 49 in the city. This project would add landscaped pedestrian bulb-outs and replace sidewalk and curb ramps along N. Washington St/Hwy 49. As illustrated in the visual simulation figure, the project would incorporate pedestrian amenities, including benches, trash receptacles, improved lighting, and an informational kiosk, into a pocket park located within the bulb-out.
