Document Description
The California Department of Fish and Wildlife (CDFW) has executed Lake and Streambed Alteration Agreement number 1600-2019-0023-R3, pursuant to section 1602 of the Fish and Game Code to the project Applicant, Sonoma County Regional Parks. The project is limited to the construction of four armored crossings, each approximately 6-feet wide and 18-feet long, and a pre-fabricated 30-foot long and approximately 8-foot wide single-span bridge. Abutments are each 1.5-feet wide by 8-feet long and will be located above the top of bank. The total area of riparian disturbance from the bridge abutments and wet crossings is approximately 688 square feet, which will be compensated for with onsite restoration and riparian plantings of 798 square feet. The bridge will be located on the North Fork of Hood Creek, and the crossing on unnamed tributaries, all as part of construction of the new Lawson Trail.
