The applicant is requesting the approval of a GP, ZC and land swap for the proposed relocation of the city of Chino Hills Transfer Station to a city-owned 1.4 acre strip of land located south of the Pomona Rincon Sewer Lift Station and adjacent to the 13.4 acre Pinehurst park. The transfer station was previously located at the city's former city yard. In order to accommodate the undergrounding of the SCE Tehachapi Renewable Transmission Project; the city relinquished its rights over the Pipeline Facility to SCE including the right to operate its Transfer Station.
