Document Description
The proposed permit will allow for the following: removal of the inactive transfer/processing activity and addition of the in-vessel digestion activity; the acceptance of a maximum of 1,080 tons per day (tpd) of a combination of wet fraction/food waste, liquid waste, and dry dewatered wastewater treatment sludge (Cake); decrease permitted traffic volume from 83 to 47 vehicles per day; decrease the permitted area from 6.4 acres to 5.7 acres; change the facility design capacity from 1,650 cubic yards to 36,600 tons; and change the permitted hours of operation from receipt of refuse/waste: 24 hours per day, 7 days per week, 365 days per year, ancillary operations/facility operating hours: N/A to food waste and liquid waste acceptance: 5:00 a.m. – 9:00 p.m. Monday – Saturday, Cake acceptance and facility operating hours: 24 hours per day, 7 days per week.
