Document Description
This project is to upgrade the biogas produced in Rialto Bioenergy Facility into 960,000 standard cubic feet (scf) per day of renewable natural gas (RNG) to refuel Waste Mangement in great Los Angels area. When fully operational, the upgraded facility will convert food waste and biosolids, diverted from landfills in the greater Los Angeles region, into 2.5 million diesel gallon equivalents of biomethane transportation fuel. The proposed fuel will have a carbon intensity of -187gCO2e/MJ and will eliminate 97,158 metric tons of carbon emissions annually from transportation fuel.
