Document Description
The San Diego RWQCB is issuing a Clean Water Act section 401 water quality certification (Cert. No. R9-2016-0202) to the project applicants. The project includes a 2.34-ac city-owned flood control detention basin and a private 179 unit residential development located on a 13.42-ac site. Impacts to jurisdictional waters includes installation of a double box culvert, a spillway between creek and basin, a basin drain into creek, a native riparian habitat restoration on the east bank, and a wildlife ramp to transition drop structure to creek bed. Compensatory mitigation is being provided for permanent fill at the City of Vista's Guajome Creek Wetland Mitigation Site.
