Document Description
SWRCB, as the responsible agency, will be issuing a water supply permit. The Idyllwild Water District constructed a 46-foot wide, 30-foot high, gravity-fed 300,000 gallon welded steel tank and installed fencing within a 100-foot by 100-foot area. The Idyllwild Water District connected 2,000 feet of 8-inch diameter PVC, C-900 piping from the tank to the distribution system. The piping was installed within the existing width of the roadway that provides access to the site, plus a strip of 10 feet on each side. The project started construction on Aug. 29, 2013 and completed construction by July 22, 2014. Construction of the project involved less than 1 acre of land. The tank has been in use since 2014. The project will provide the continued operation of these facilities.
