Document Description
The California Department of Fish and Wildlife has executed Lake and Streambed Alteration Agreement number 1600-2017-0048-R1, pursuant to Section 1602 of the Fish and Game Code to Mr. Michael Scott. The project is limited to two encroachments. One encroachment is for water diversion from an Unnamed Tributary to Kinsey Creek. Water is diverted for domestic use only and work for the water diversion will include use and maintenance of the existing water diversion infrastructure. The other project is to upgrade an undersized culvert. Work for this project will include excavation and removal of existing culvert, installation of new culvert, backfilling and compaction of fill, and rock armoring as necessary to minimize erosion.

This project will use, and maintain existing infrastructure for water diversion with no expansion of use and upgrade one existing stream crossings that will reduce risk of failure and erosion potential. There will be no significant adverse impact on endangered, rare or threatened species or their habitat pursuant to section 15065. There are no hazardous materials at or around the project site that may be disturbed or removed. The project will not result in impacts that are significant when viewed in connection with the effects of past projects, the effects of other current projects, and the effects of probably future projects.
