The City of El Centro seeks to implement aeration blower improvements at the Wastewater Treatment Plant (WWTP) to increase energy efficiency. two existing, constant speed aeration blowers would be replaced by two new, variable speed aeration blowers in the same location. The project's objective is to increase efficiency at the WWTP's aeration basins, which is the most energy intensive treatment process at the WWTP.
