The project will restore up to five acres of sensitive habitats on a conserved property in the City of San Diego and includes restoration of sensitive vernal pool wetlands and surrounding sensitive maritime succulent scrub uplands habitat; restoration of populations of common and sensitive animal and plant species; monitoring of restoration progress; and public outreach and education.
Project involves minor public or private alterations in the condition of land, water, and/or vegetation which would not involve removal of healthy, mature, scenic trees, and for minor trenching and minor backfilling where the surface is restored and involves habitat restoration that does not exceed five acres and is exempt from the California Environmental Quality Act (CEQA) pursuant to the State CEQA Guidelines.
