Reasons for Exemption
The project consists of the repair of a streambank that has severely eroded as a result of high flows, in particular winter 2016/2017 storm events and continued high released downstream of the Friant Dam. Work is necessary to protect the engineered levee and properties situated behind the levee from the effects of storm flow during the upcoming rainy season.
