Document Description
The City is in the process of designing improvements to a section of the City's sewer interceptor. In order to determine the best alternative for the pipeline route, a geotechnical investigation is required. The Project entails excavation of 15 bore holes adjacent to the existing sewer line corridor. One bore hole will occur within waters of the U.S. This bore hole will be approximately 6 to 9 inches wide and approximately 10 feet deep. The remaining 14 holes will be excavated in uplands and will range in depth between 7 and 20 feet. Construction of the sewer interceptor is not part of this Project. The Project site will be accessed from Interstate 5 to the east, which was determined by the Project engineer to have the least impact to wetlands.
