Document Description
The project proposes to construct maintenance vehicle pullouts, access roads, access gates within the existing sound walls, contrasting surface treatment beyond the gore pavement, slope paving near bridges and between guard rails, and vehicle detection devices (loop detectors).
The purpose of the project is to enhance the safety of maintenance workers working on the SR 4 in the city of Stockton, by reducing their exposure to traffic. The need is to reduce the risk and frequency of injuries or fatalities of maintenance.
