Document Description
The California of Department of Fish and Wildlife has executed Lake or Streambed Alteration Agreement number 1600-2017-0381-R3, pursuant to Section 1602 of the Fish and Game Code to the Pacific Gas and Electric Company
The PG&E natural gas transmission pipeline 300B near Milepost 500.46 is exposed across East Penitencia Channel in Milpitas. The Permittee, PG&E, plans to replace the existing 34-inch diameter crossing at a new deeper alignment of approximately 14 feet below the existing creek bed. The work contained in this Agreement consists of excavating a 7-foot wide by 9-foot long by 14' deep bell hole to facilitate the installation. Dewatering of the bell hole and adjacent work area will be necessary. After the repairs have been made, crews will backfill the bell hole with existing spoils and the site will be returned to its original contours. Upon completion of the installation, the bell hole will be back filled with the stockpiled native material and the area restored.
