Document Description
Eastern Municipal Water District's (District) College II Tank is one of the Districts oldest potable water storage tanks, constructed in the early 1950's. As part of the District's on-going effort to provide reliable water service, tanks are inspected on a three-year cycle. The effort includes internal and external visual inspection of the tank and appurtenances. In mid-2015, after reviewing tank inspections reports, the College II Tank was identified as a tank ranking in poor condition. Further evaluation was completed and recommendations for rehabilitation were made. The proposed project will include structural modifications and recoating of the ceiling and partial upper wall sections of the tank.
