Document Description
The Preliminary Five-year Energy Management Plan (EMP) identifies potential energy management strategies to help accelerate the District's various greenhouse gas reduction strategies identified in the District's CAP and proposes an optimal shore power rate for the District's cruise ship terminals. Assembly Bill (AB) 68 authorizes ports ad harbor districts to jointly prepare EMPs with electric and gas providers in recognition of the need to reduce energy costs and air pollution in their business operations.
