Document Description
The California Department of Fish and Wildlife has executed Lake or Streambed Alteration Agreement No. 1600-2015-0244-R3, pursuant to Section 1602 of the Fish and Game Code to the Pacific Gas and Electric Company.
The Permittee, Pacific Gas and Electric Company (PG&E), plans to conduct vegetation removal, including trees and woody shrubs, in a corridor approximately 180 linear feet by 20 feet (0.08 acre) along as underground gas transmission line ROW to increase safety and access. A 30-foot portion of the gas line is below Las Positas Creek. The vegetation removal protocol follows current PG&E standards for removal: woody vegetation from within 5 feet of either side of the line, all trees within 10 feet of the line and trees likely to grow or currently exceeding 36' diameter at breast height (DBH) 10-14 feet from either edge of the line will be removed. In the event that the vegetation removal cannot be conducted during dry weather conditions in 2017, work will be conducted in the spring or summer of 2018.
