Document Description
The project is limited to the seismic retrofit and installation of scour protection measures at the existing westbound Indio Boulevard Bridge (Bridge No. 56C-0292) over the Coachella Valley Stormwater Channel. Seismic retrofit work consists of pile shaft retrofit (steel casing around existing columns), hinge retrofit (addition of pipe and cable restrainers), and foundation retrofit (placement of grade beams). Scour protection measures include the installation of new concrete channel bottom lining and repair of undermined existing channel slope paving.
