Document Description
The City plans to pave approximately ½ mile of S. Sunland St. from Bowman Rd to Dolphin Ave. Work will include the replacement of an existing dirt road with a two lane paved road; maximum paved width of 32 feet and will connect to existing roadway at the north and south. No new right way is required for the project.

Reasons for Exemption
The purpose of the project is to reduce fugitive dust and help achieve NAAQS through the Congestion Mitigations and Air Quality Improvement (CMAQ) program. The existing is an operating dirt road that will be paved over without increasing capacity. The site was reviewed for environmental resources and it was determined that the project will have no significant effect on the environment.
