Document Description
The State Water Resources Control Board (State Water Board) is a Responsible Agency for the Project. The State Water Board’s Drinking Water State Revolving Fund (SRF) Program is financing the Project. The Castlewood Domestic Water System proposes to replace two deteriorating 100,000-gallon redwood water tanks that provide water for domestic consumption and emergency fire control. The new 150,000-gallon steel tanks will be located on the site of the existing tanks, but improvements and grading will occur on currently undeveloped areas adjacent to the existing tanks. Grading on the site will include the excavation of a hillside area to the west of the existing tanks and to the east of Castlewood Drive, as well as other areas bordering the existing tanks.
